Organize & reuse
Explore with Sets
One shared direction. Several image treatments you can compare, refine, and reuse.
A Set turns one shared direction into several image outputs. Connect a product image to keep a visual reference across the variations.
Give each variation a purpose
Select an image and choose Batch in Actions. Flow adds a connected Set. You can also add Set from the canvas node picker.
Keep Variants and Shared Model selected for this example. Choose your model and ratio, then fill in:
- Direction: the common tone, lighting, or art direction.
- Shared Prompt: what every output should preserve.
- Each slot: what makes that particular treatment different.
For this campaign, the shared prompt keeps the exact blue cup. The slots ask for cream studio, terracotta, evening light, and an advert with a headline. Use + Slot when you need another direction.

Choose the mode for the job
| Mode | How the images relate | Useful for |
|---|---|---|
| Variants | Shared direction plus different instructions per slot. | Comparing backgrounds, lighting, layouts, or campaign treatments. |
| Shots | Several outputs from the shared prompt, without individual slot prompts. | Exploring a single scene or visual direction. |
| Sequence | Each step uses the previous step's generated image. | Building a series of changes in a deliberate order. |
These are image outputs. A Set's Sequence is not a finished video. To animate a chosen image, use a connected Video node.
In Variants, Mixed lets individual slots use different models. Keep Shared Model when you want to compare creative directions with the same model.
Review, choose, and continue
Choose Run All to generate the slots, then open Gallery to inspect the results and their prompts.
These four outputs came from the connected product reference above, using Nano Banana 2. Each slot explores a different background, lighting treatment, or layout.
- Set main chooses the output the Set passes to downstream nodes.
- Promote puts that existing result on the canvas as its own image node. It stays in the Set too.
- Rerun generates that slot again. Use it when you only want to change one result.
