Example workflows
From brief to product image
Keep the brand direction in one node and the scene-specific instructions in another.
This workflow separates what stays consistent from what changes in this image. The shared brief is your own text; no text-generation step is required.
1. Write the reusable brief
Right-click an empty part of Flow and choose Prompt. The canvas card is labelled Text. Add a short brand direction:
AURORA — COFFEE CAMPAIGN
A cobalt-blue ceramic cup, warm coastal light and tactile stone. Calm, considered, quietly premium. Keep the cup as the hero. Landscape photography, no lettering.
2. Add the image step
Select the Text node and choose To Image in Actions. Flow creates an image node connected to the brief.
Choose Nano Banana 2 and 16:9. In this image node's instructions, describe the particular scene:
Use the connected campaign brief. Photograph the cup on a pale travertine windowsill above a softly blurred Mediterranean sea. Low morning sunlight, a thin ribbon of steam, editorial negative space. Keep it realistic and beautifully restrained. No text.
3. Run, inspect, then reuse
Run the image node. Check that the result follows both the brief and the scene: here, the blue cup and quiet art direction stay consistent while the coastal setting comes from the image instructions.
To try another setting, change the image node's instructions and run it again. Keep the Text brief as the common direction. To animate a result you like, select its node and choose To Video.
