# Motion Transfer Pair a character image with a motion clip, then describe the performance to transfer. Source: https://www.creativly.ai/docs/sessions/motion-transfer ## Watch a real transfer Preview the public Motion Transfer examples, then follow the labeled cut to a signed-in workspace. Open **Robot dance** and review its character photo and movement clip. This recording submits one **Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash** job at **5s**, **720p**, **9:16** and **Count 1**, then plays and downloads the genuine completed result. The generation wait is shortened and labeled. Silent; use full screen to inspect the steps. ## Try an example Open **Motion Transfer** in the sidebar. Preview an example, then choose **Use prompt** to load its prompt, character image, motion clip and output settings. The small **Inputs** previews show which image and clip the example uses. These are existing examples. Loading one prepares your next run; it does not create a new video. ## Use your own character and motion 1. Attach a clear **character image** and a **motion video** using the image and video reference controls in the Prompt Bar. Remove any example inputs you want to replace. 2. Describe which performance to copy and which appearance to preserve. Type `@` to identify your attached references when useful. 3. Choose a video model that supports both inputs. Review the duration, resolution, ratio, count and current estimate. 4. Press the **arrow** to generate, then play the whole result in your session. ```text Transfer the walk from the motion clip to this fox. Keep the green coat, orange fur and satchel. Preserve the character's appearance throughout the shot. ``` Use a source clip where the movement is easy to see. Check hands, feet, clothing and the beginning and end of the result before choosing it for your project. Exact movement and character consistency can vary.
