Check that its attachment appears in the composer. ### Say which section to keep Use start and end times so the cut is unambiguous. > Can you make a tighter version of this clip? Keep just the section from 1 to 4 seconds, with the original picture and sound, and save it as a new MP4. No need to regenerate anything. ### Play and download the result The new clip appears on the canvas alongside the source. Play it, check the cut, then use its download button or the link in chat. ![Agent workspace showing the trimmed video, its three-second duration, and the completed request in chat.](https://pub-60e30bed45514f03933d3900731bea31.r2.dev/public-app-sessions/v1/documentation/agent-trim-result-full-24330489223c3811.webp) The completed example is a three-second MP4 with an audio track. The original remains available. ## Trimming is different from generating A trim keeps a section of the existing footage. A generative edit changes its visual content. Say which you want, especially if keeping the exact scene matters. This example was exported at **1280 × 720**, with **3 seconds** of video and audio. It was re-encoded, so it is not a lossless copy of the original file.
